Since 2006 it has been a statutory requirement for all businesses to have a Fire Risk Assessment carried out. If you employ more than 5 people then you have to record your findings and make them available to the HSE or the Fire Brigade if required.

After we have carried out your Fire Risk Assessment, we can supply you with our own comprehensive “Fire Safety Log Book”. This has been designed to make sure that you comply with all the relevant statutory training, system servicing and records that you need to keep. The Fire Risk Assessment is kept in one section along with a plan of your premises. Should you ever need to show anybody your documentation, it will all be readily available in one easy to use folder. Blank copies of all of the forms etc. are supplied on a CD which means all you have to do is print out additional copies as you need them.

It is worth noting that it is a legal requirement to have a Fire Risk Assessment carried out and reviewed every year. We can offer a comprehensive service to make sure that when this is due, providing there have been no changes to your premises, we complete the necessary documents for a fraction of the cost of having another Fire Risk Assessment carried out. We understand that Fire Risk Assessments are not a priority. In today’s age, the emphasis is on you to make sure that you have done all that is reasonably possible to protect your staff, the public, visitors and also the Fire Brigade should they ever need to attend your premises.
